It’s almost new catalogue time and I’m excited to have copies of the gorgeous new book in my craft room. I have started to deliver them to my customers. I like to add a few things with the catalogues I send to my amazing customers. This catalogue they have a sample of the new In Colors, catalogue tabs, wishlist paper and a handmade card.

I love a good pun! This layout is great for showing off all the new In Colors.
Do you have an emerging favourite from the new In Colors? Mine has been changing on a daily basis though those greens are definitely getting a workout! I love it when an In Color set looks amazing together. These colours complement each other nicely – in any order!

Today I’m sharing a house warming card. The Hydrangea Hill DSP set the tone of the card and helped with choosing the colours and styling for this pretty creation.
I set the DSP out in a patchwork style layout – two large squares and eight small squares. On the large squares, I added circle embellishments using stamps front the Circle Celebration stamp set and a house die cut from the now retired Home Together Dies.
The sentiment for this card is from the A Grand Kid stamp set. I don’t have grand kids, but this set is perfect for so much more than that!
The butterflies are from the Fluttering Dies – cut on the DSP over a hydrangea. The colours in the card are Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose, Highland Heather and Basic White.
This card was fun to make and it a layout you could use with any DSP. The most wonderful thing about Stampin’ Up! DSP is that they’ve already coordinated the colours and patterns for you, so it all just works!

Hey there, thanks for joining me for another Just Add Ink challenge. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s the variety in the Just Add Ink challenges that I love so much.
Today’s challenge is to add a Blended Background. I can’t wait to see how everyone does this – brushes, daubers, sponge rollers, ink pads…. this technique has lots of ways to reach your end point. I used the new Stamping Brushes by Stampin’ Up!. These makeup style brushes make seamless blending so easy. To help, I used Shimmery White cardstock with its ultra smooth surface and beautiful shimmer to help blend the colours.
Before applying the ink, I stamped the wildflowers from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Versamark and added Clear Embossing Powder. This is the Emboss Resist Technique and always a favourite when working with blended backgrounds. It means when you rub the ink over the cardstock, it doesn’t take up ink where the clear embossing is and that part remains whatever colour your background started (in this case white).
The colours I used for the ink blending are Daffodil Delight, Magenta Madness and Gorgeous Grape. I really wanted the colours to be bright and fun for this get well card.
I always like to balance the bright colours with black and white contrast. The dragonfly and the sentiment are white heat embossed on Basic Black cardstock. The get well soon sentiment is from the Blossoms in Bloom stamp set. It’s often my go to because I love the font and it’s got really sensible sayings that you want to put on the front of cards.

Hello 2021! Here we are, embarking on another year! As we travel the road (or gauntlet) that is 2021, we will discover what adventures this year has in store for us. I am choosing a year of positivity, creativity and happiness.
Our new years celebrations were quiet last night so after a small sleep in this morning, it was pancakes for breakfast and then some lovely time tinkering in the craft room while Mr Papercraft & the Mini Papercrafts packed away Christmas. This was the result of some time in my happy space.
The Jan-June 2021 catalogue starts soon (Tuesday 5th Jan) and one of the new products you’ll find between the covers of this gorgeous catalogue is Gilded Leafing Embellishment. It’s an enormous container of gold leaf ready to add to your crafting projects.
The easiest way to apply the gold leaf is with Versamark ink and Heat & Stick powder – both available in my online store from 5th Jan. I went a little more fancy with my happy new year sentiment – using Whisper White cardstock, Foam Adhesive Sheets, Playful Alphabet Dies, ink applied to the bottom 2/3 of the letters with Sponge Daubers and then gold gilding on the bottom half. I cut the letters on the foam adhesive but left them in the negative while I added ink and gilding. This made it easier to work with the small die cuts.
To add the gold leaf to your project, simply apply Versamark ink (I pushed the letters onto the ink pad) and then add Heat & Stick powder. Melt this with your Heat Tool to activate then using tweezers, press gold leaf onto the sticky parts. Leave to dry for a couple of minutes then brush off with a dry paintbrush or Aqua Painter.

After many years of hard work, my very clever sister-in-law was not going to let COVID interrupt her plans to finish her studies and become a vet. We were so very proud of her this month when she attended her registration day and got the certification that allows her to commence her journey as a working vet! Official graduation to follow, but I’m told the real excitement is the official paperwork!
Such a momentous occasion couldn’t go without a personalised gift to start her working life with the right accessories. How cute is this coat hanger from Our Heavenly Hangers. I added the paw print to keep on theme.
The card was made using the colours of her university – Real Red and Basic Black. I’ve been really enjoying the dive into my retired supplies lately – of which there are many as the years go on! The mortar board hat is a square of black cardstock with a gold tassel. The numbers are the Large Numbers Dies and the stars are from the Perpetual Birthday stamp set and the Curvy Christmas stamp set. From my current stash, the ‘congratulations’ sentiment is from A Grand Kid stamp set.
I also personalised a mug since everyone working lots of hours as a new grad needs coffee to keep them going!

Hello! Thank you for joining me and my stamping friends for another Social Stamping Blog Host. We’ve been hopping on the last Saturday of each month to a shared theme. Today’s theme is “Get Better Soon”.
The Social Stamping Blog Host started when COVID was first making its impact on life in Australia. Very unbelievably, it is still having a significant impact on life on the east coast of Australia – particularly our friends in Melbourne & Victoria. They have only just had restrictions eased after a second wave of the virus. We are in a bubble here on the west coast with restrictions in place that make travel into and out of the state almost impossible. Only time will tell what we can expect here in WA as the COVID journey continues.
This theme could take on so many meanings – from the literal of hoping someone feels better soon from an illness to supporting someone in a hard time where you hope their situation will get better. There’s also this meme that pops up on social media every now and again that always makes me smile at the clever use of language (it must be the Speech Pathologist humour in me!).
Whatever the sentiment behind the get better wishes, I always love seeing what my creative friends share during these hops. There’s a full participant list below – in case of any broken links. Please enjoy the creativity shared and we hope to inspired you to make something crafty this weekend.

My projects for today started off as a solo card using another fancy fold I’ve had on my wishlist to try. I shared a Step Panel Card earlier in the week – it was so easy and so fun.
Today it’s a Peekaboo Flap Card using the animals from the Back On Your Feet stamp set. I think we’ll see this used at least a few times on this blog hop – because it’s a fabulous ‘get well’ type set.
This was the first card I made using the giraffe stamp in Bumblebee with patterned paper from the Playing with Patterns DSP.
A Peekaboo Flap card has the die cut in the same place through all layers so that you can see through to the image on the inside on the card.
The flap is held in place by sentiment on the left side, which then opens up to show the middle layer.
And then opens again to show the inside of the card and the whole giraffe…
And then it all folds back up again!
Once I’d made this version, I couldn’t resist using the same fold to make a sloth version using Pear Pizzazz and Forever Greenery DSP….
And a turtle version in Rich Razzleberry and Artistry Blooms DSP.
This stamp set was so much fun to play with, even if it’s not so nice to need to send a get better card.

I was asked by a friend to make a new house card. Is there a better combination for this theme than the In Good Taste DSP (filled with home textile patterns), Home Together Dies (I bought these for exactly this theme) and Playful Alphabet Dies (for making the sentiment perfectly customised!).
This card is very neutral in it’s tones and makes me thing of a display home with a fabulously neutral colour scheme ready to add some pops of colour and a personal touch!
The little home & heart die is my favourite in the set and just so cute!!
Although I almost always make standard A6 size cards (half an A4 sheet folded), I wanted the long space of a DL sized card (8-1/4″ x 8-1/4″ folded in half).
Seeing all the earthy tones of this card makes me want to make another one in glorious bright colours! That might be a good project for today!
The theme for today is sunshine. Summer is my favourite season. I love hot weather and I love the warmth and light that the sun brings to a day. The sun for me is a symbol of hope and positivity. I initially chose this theme to coordinate with the Share Sunshine digital stamp set brought out by Stampin’ Up as a special release to raise funds for COVID-19 relief. Many of the sentiments in the download are uplifting and quirky and make for great rays of sunshine to brighten someone’s day (hence the title of the set!!).
This is my card using the Share Sunshine PDF images with a blended rainbow on Shimmery White cardstock.

The colours are all from the Brights family – Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape, blended with a makeup brush.
The ‘sending love & paper hugs’ is one of my favourites from the digital stamp set – and just perfect to let someone know you are thinking about them. Since the set is being sold as a download to my computer, I’ll have this set forever, without needing any physical storage and I can just print the pages I need, as I need them.
I’ve added another sentiment from the download to the middle of the card with more of the rainbow card I made.

This theme inspired me to create another card, using the bright yellow of the sun as the main feature – with some white clouds and a ‘hello sunshine’ sentiment.
The stamp set is a retired favourite (I can bear to part with that hello) called Hello. It was a Sale-A-Bration stamp set many years ago, but I often pull it out because of the awesome fonts and cool sentiments.
Since I’ve decided I do like gingham after all (slow but steady seems to be the craft style here!), I’ve used Pineapple Punch DSP in the gingham pattern from the 2018-2020 In Color DSP. The cloud die is another retired favourite – Rainbow Builder Dies.
Speaking of rainbows, do you remember my rainbow window from week three? I updated it again yesterday with balloons for my birthday. I was convinced it was going to fall down as soon as I put it up, but over a month later, it has survived everything including the most intense storm I’ve seen recently.
I most often craft in the afternoons while Little Master Papercraft has his afternoon nap, and then again at night when all the Little Papercrafts are in bed. So I didn’t realise, but when the sunshine is coming through the window in the morning, it projects a silhouette of the rainbow wall onto the wall behind my computer. What a beautiful sight!
I hope the reflections you see this weekend are beautiful and you take the time to stop and notice. If there’s one thing that this pandemic has allowed me to enjoy, it’s a a slower pace and enjoying the little details!

We like to keep things simple around here. Mr Papercraft has no excuse to forget our wedding anniversary – it falls on the same day as Miss Papercraft’s birthday and the day before Valentine’s Day.
For our anniversary, in keeping with that simple theme, I made an almost one layer card using the Music From The Heart stamp set and hearts from the Detailed Hearts Die.
This gorgeous musically themed stamp set was designed by Dawn Olchefske (one of my fave SU designers and the first place I check if I need a tutorial!) as part of her million dollar sales achievement.
The colour theme is simple too – red, white & black, which matches the theme we had for our wedding. I’ve shared some photos before of our beautiful day (see here and here), but here’s another one from the archives.
Sadly this restaurant is no longer is operation, but how amazing is that red wall??? And so convenient to match our colours!
There’s a solid place in the crafting world for a traditional lovey-dovey card with hearts all over it! The hearts I’ve used on this card are from the Detailed Hearts Die. As well as a great die cut for cards & scrapbooking, the hearts it leaves when it cuts out the die are amazing for adding to projects. I took a little liberty with the music notes and transformed them into hearts too!
Happy anniversary to Mr Papercraft! The goal in life is not to find the perfect person, but to find the person perfect for you – and we’ve succeeded!
