Here’s a sneak peek of one of the card options for tomorrow. It’s a spinner card using the Give it a Whirl Dies and Stellar Birthday stamp set.
These dies in all their stitched glory made it so easy to create cards that whirl and create magic. In this card, the planets change colour as you spin the wheel.
The pieces in the kit allow stampers to create a Balmy Blue or Smoky Slate space scene. Which would you choose?
There’s a choice of sentiment from this stamp set, or you could leave it blank for an all occasion card.

I’ve used three different DSPs on these cards – can you pick them?
They are all reverse patterns which makes it a little hard to place them but you may be surprised! The Cajun Craze pattern is from the In The Wild DSP, the Bumblebee pattern is from the Pansy Petals DSP and the Just Jade pattern is from the Sweet Symmetry DSP.
The stamp set for these cards is the Hats Off set, together with the Hat Builder Dies. I love how many themes you can use to create fun & easy cards using this bundle. It also has great sentiments and the stitching on the hat die takes it to a whole other level of detail!

Every year our Paper Adventures team meets for a retreat day in Perth. This year we were hosted by Shannon Kissane and while the weather was wet and grey outside, we had the pleasure of spending the day stamping inside. The weather even broke for a short while which allowed use to enjoy lunch outside.
As usual, I forgot to take any photos except this amazing group shot. What a fabulous group of crafters!
We used the same format for this team day as previous ones we enjoyed and crafted using “shoebox swaps”. Each crafter designed a project, made up the kits and put it in a box with all the supplies required to make it up. We rotated around the table until we’d made 8 of the kits, allowing approximately 20 mins per project. The projects we didn’t get to make in person, we took home as a completed sample.

I had kits available in each colour option so stampers could choose the one they preferred. It was a 50-50 split on favourites with one of each colour left over at the end.
The card style is one I’ve shared a lot this week – a notebook fancy fold. The stamp set is In Symmetry – one of my new catalogue favourites together with Sweet Symmetry DSP. I think the colours and styling of the DSP made me fall in love with the stamp set. Pink & yellow has always been a favourite of mine.
There was a little bit of fussy cutting involved but everyone snipped with good grace. This stamp set would be perfect with coordinating dies (hint hint Stampin’ Up!).
I design & make so many cards for classes, it’s always an absolute pleasure to make a card designed by someone else. Across 10 cards, we had such a unique mix of styles, colours and products. It’s a well known fact that you should always wait until after a team gathering to put in your next Stampin’ Up! order. There’s always A LOT of enabling!!!

Hello Monday! Thanks for joining me this morning as I hop with my Stampin’ Up! friends from around the world for another Stamp Review Crew hop. Today we’re sharing projects we’ve made using the Artistically Inked stamp set.
This was my top pick from the 2021 Annual Catalogue. I couldn’t wait to have the whole suite – the stamp set, the coordinating Artistic Dies, the stunning Expressions in Ink DSP and Expressions in Ink Ephemera Pack.
I’ve used my favourite layout at the moment for these cards – a notebook style fancy fold where you take a standard card size, score at 4-1/8” from the open end and adhere the space between the side fold and the score line to create a solid side piece.
The colours for this DSP are so pretty, so I’ve used Polished Pink and Soft Succulent from the 2021-2023 In Colors to complement the DSP.
Each side contains deluxe gold foiling, which made the choice to add accents die cut from gold foil an easy one.
The stamps in this set have a beautiful watercolour effect. You’ll want to make sure you apply ink carefully – either with a brush or sponge dauber, or smoothing the ink with a sponge or brush after you’ve inked directly from the pad. It makes so much difference to the variation in colour that it’s worth the extra effort!
As well as the floral images, the stamp set contains sentiments you’ll want to use on every card you make!

Hello! It’s my pleasure to be hopping with my Paper Adventures team today. As we farewell the Jan-June Mini catalogue at the end of this month, we’re taking the opportunity to share favourites that we’re going to miss in this ‘Out With the Old’ theme.
My absolute favourite from the Jan-June mini was the Pretty Perennial bundle. Designed by Dena Rekow in honour of her million dollar sales achievement – I love everything about it!
For today’s projects, I have CASEd the cards from the catalogue using this bundle and added in the Hey Girlfriend stamp set for some fun teen cards.
I didn’t buy this stamp set when the catalogue first came out but I always planned to add it to my collection before it retired. It’s a great one for the long term stash – especially having two girls who are fast growing up!
There’s three different girls in the stamp set – all with a different style, which I love! I think this little lady is my favourite – possibly it’s the glasses, Ra-Ra skirt and the cute hair that have me hooked!
Using Stampin’ Blends, you can colour the girls to theme with any card design and using any skin tone you like. I really love this chart by Jacque Williams which allows you to see each of the combinations and had an option to download the chart and create your own skin colour table. I didn’t have the exact same products in each of the samples, so I substituted where I needed to which is the perfect way to CASE. One of the definitions of CASE stands for Copy and Selectively Edit.

Hello! Thanks for stopping by for a Just Add Ink – Choose Two challenge. I really love it when these roll around – there’s so much room for creativity. There’s a choice today of stitching, stripes and paper strips.
As always, I really could have used all three elements but settled on stitching (how could I not!) and paper strips for these notebook style fun folds. Using DSP for card fronts on so many of my cards, I’ve often got strips of DSP lying around. This style of fold uses those strips up perfectly.
I’ve used the Flowering Cactus Product Medley – a themed crafting set with a stamp set, dies, DSP, embellishments and twine to inspire cards with perfect coordination.
Both of these cards are 5-1/2” long/wide and 4-1/8” across/down. They are scored at 4-1/8” from the open end to create a square feature panel. The remaining portion is adhered together to create thicker edge.
The paper strips were used for the notepad edge and as an accent on the card front.
This card fold works in both orientations – so of course I had to make both!
The Flowering Cactus DSP is so pretty! With the stamps you can make your own cactus & flower combinations but the DSP includes a few different coloured designs of the cacti. I really love how they’ve coloured them, so I decided to use the DSP versions instead of stamping. And fab bonus for this product medley – the dies that coordinate with the stamp set, also match the DSP. These images can be cut using dies!!!
The stitching element on my card is the pretty tag. These are a hidden gem of the 2021 Annual Catalogue. They don’t have a specific stamp set to match, so they only appear in the dies section at the back of the catalogue. You get several sizes of two different tag shapes. A total love for me!
This is the inside of the card. You can see that once you adhere the scored panel on the edge, the usable space in the middle is 4-1/8” square. I’ve layered more of the fab DSP with a Basic White writing panel.

Here’s a sneak peek of one of the card options we’ll be making using the Quiet Meadow bundle.
This card has two colour options – Soft Succulent / Evening Evergreen and Petal Pink / Calypso Coral. They were inspired by the colours of the reverse patterns that I’ve used from the Pansy Petals DSP.
The fold is a variation of a z-fold, opening up to see more of the DSP and another panel – which can be used for writing or decoration.
The card can stand up but also folds flat into a normal card size to fit into an envelope.
The Meadow Dies create a beautiful silhouette effect and looks pretty against the background stamps from the Quiet Meadow stamp set.
The sentiments from this set are sweet and look lovely in the stitched & scalloped label die.
There’s only three more sessions of Social Stamping this term. We’ll be taking a break across July and look forward to more Social Stamping from August.
Hello Monday! It’s a holiday here, so no school – which means another day to sleep in late, the potential for an adventure and a short week to enjoy.
I’m hopping today with the Stamp Review Crew – a group of international Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who all share projects using the same stamp set. Today’s top shelf selection is Whiskey Business – a carryover into the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue. You can see the full list of participants on the Stamp Review Crew blog.
I love this stamp set for some broody male cards. I haven’t been able to move away from the classic deep tones that whiskey stereotypes involve. I’m excited to see the inspiration from the hop and the designs the crew bring to the table.
I’ve themed these cards using the Simply Elegant DSP. I hadn’t considered it particularly masculine but the mix of geometric patterns works really well for a variety of occasions.
The whiskey bottle & glass are stamped in Early Espresso and coloured with Stampin’ Blends – Pale Papaya and Crumb Cake. The sentiment and garnish are gold embossed.
I’ve used the grey tones – Basic Grey and Smoky Slate for his card to tone with the DSP patterns.
I added Soft Succulent for the second card to create a colour contrast and something a little brighter.
The background layer is Smoky Slate with lines scored at 1/2” intervals. Such an easy way to add texture!
The amber ale in these cups are thanks to a more yellow undertone – So Saffron and Crumb Cake. So many options for authentic whiskey colours. Combining two (or three) colours of Blends gives a range of different colours from the existing marker range.
As the weather cools here in Australia, this sleek fireplace inspiration photos is perfect for winter crafting. For those of you in the northern hemisphere, you would probably roll your eyes at the temperatures Aussies consider to be cold! It’s wood fires, beanies and blankets at less than 20 degrees for me! I love the summer and the only good things about winter weather are snuggling up inside when it’s raining outside, a change in wardrobe and a good excuse to craft because it’s too cold to be outside. And past that, it’s just a countdown til summer arrives again!
I kept it simple for today’s projects using Basic White Notecards, Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP, Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder and the Inspired Thoughts stamp set.
Inspired by the white wash of the brick wall fireplace in the photo, I ran the textured white DSP pattern through the embossing machine using the Brick & Mortar folder. It’s one of my favourites with cardstock – but wow – embossing the DSP takes it to another level! I often forget to alter DSP in any way other than cutting it. But embossing and stamping on it is a great way to add more texture.
The notecards are the perfect size for the potted delights from the DSP. Like so many of the designs, the Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP has a couple of pages that can be used as whole sheets, or can indulge a little fussy cutting.
The sentiments are from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set – one of my favourite new greeting sets from the Annual Catalogue. It has a range of sentiments including sympathy, thinking of you, congratulations, hello and thank you. I’ve cut using either the Stitched Rectangle Dies or Succulent Dies.
The art work on the plants is just divine – they are pretty enough to stand alone on a card and look amazing!

I shared a card yesterday that I made using the What a Year Memories & More cards (click here to see). That project was the inspiration for another series of cards – using more of the Memories & More cards and the Biggest Wish stamp set.
The colours and patterns of the What a Year Memories & More cards are fabulous. The combination of pinks, yellows, aqua and greens are beautiful and the designs are quirky, cool and fun!
I picked out 4 of my favourite patterns and paired them with the same elements from yesterday’s card – Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder and Biggest Wish stamp set.
